We are seeking immediate nominations and applications for a member of Pensions Committee.

Have you a financial background? If so, the ̽»¨ÉçÇø needs you!

The ̽»¨ÉçÇø Pensions Committee is looking for volunteers to help the ̽»¨ÉçÇø continue supporting its pension arrangements. Previous experience in some aspect of pension provision or regulation would be of assistance to the current group of volunteers.

If you have an interest in helping the Church manage the retirement arrangements for our ministerial team and our staff members, we’d love to hear from you.

Commission Secretary – Ministerial Discipline Process

The ̽»¨ÉçÇø’s Ministerial Discipline Process is looking for a Commission Secretary, effective from July 2025, but with ample shadowing time of the present post-holder built in.

Key tasks include:

  • Keeping records of the panel for Assembly Commissions.
  • Approaching identified individuals to sit on Assembly Commissions.
  • Liaising with all those involved in disciplinary cases.
  • Arranging meetings for Assembly Commissions, draft agendas, take minutes and assist to progress cases. Advise on due process.
  • Drafting documents for approval by the Assembly Commissions.
  • Monitoring and seek to expedite the progress of cases through the ‘hearing stage’ of the disciplinary process
  • Making arrangements for formal disciplinary hearings and attend, including taking notes during the hearing, keeping records of decisions made, informing parties of decisions made and record keeping.
  • Seeking feedback and drafting lessons learnt reports on all cases that entered the disciplinary process.

Safeguarding Committee – Voluntary Independent Member

About You…
We are seeking applications for an independent member of the ̽»¨ÉçÇø’s Safeguarding Committee.

You will have a current or recent working knowledge of safeguarding with children and/or adults at risk and be willing to gain an understanding of contextualised safeguarding withing the faith setting.

As a committee member you will be instrumental in overseeing the implementation of the ̽»¨ÉçÇø’s safeguarding polices and the strategic management of safeguarding across the denomination.
