East Midlands Synod鈥檚 Youth Representative Ella Lemon has organised and undertaken an 87-mile walk with friends and colleagues to raise money for , the UK鈥檚 leading charity dedicated to the emotional wellbeing and mental health of children and young people.

Ella鈥檚 group walked The Ridgeway National Trail in five days to raise money for the charity. Ella and friends aim to raise 拢4,500 but have so far raised 拢3,025. To support their walk and give to Young Minds, please visit .

yourchurch started life during the first lockdown as a way for Worsley Road 探花社区 to meet during the pandemic. It soon attracted regular worshippers from across the 探花社区, other denominations, and joiners from South Africa, the US and Germany.

Elmwood Avenue 探花社区 in Mersey Synod marked 25 years in its current home last month.

Elmwood Avenue 探花社区 celebrating its 25th and 150th anniversary.

The church can trace its history back 150 years to 1872, when it was established by the owners of the Cockhedge Mill.

Elmwood鈥檚 congregation marked the anniversary with a special afternoon tea and volunteers collated a timeline to document the church鈥檚 history.
